Jewels: New Aquamarine Earrings

On the 2019 Belgian state visit to South Korea, Queen Mathilde was first seen wearing these delicate diamond pendants with a pear shaped aquamarine.

According to royal reporter Jelka Van Duyse they were bought at Fabienne Lascar's jewellery shop in Brussels. In 2023 Mme Lascar closed her jewellery shop at the Sablon, after having been there for 3 generations. She now still offers a small range of high jewellery online, mainly end of line pieces. 

It was the jeweller who provided Mathilde with the gemstones.
