In February 2017 queen Mathilde undertook a journey to Laos as UNICEF and UN representative to focus on malnutrition and education for girls.

During the 4 days she spent in the country, she also had the chance to meet some of the Belgians who are living in Laos. These images, where she's joined by ambassador Philippe Kridelka, were made during that informal meeting in Vientiane.
