Queen Mathilde attended the 30.000th "Last Post" being played at Menin Gate in Ypres.
Since 1928 the buglers of the Ypres fire brigade have been playing an ode to the soldiers who died in WWI, each day of each year at 20:00. An international network of firemen & buglers played an impressive ode to the ode for this occasion.
The Queen was accompanied by her British born lady-in-waiting, Lindsay Edwards.
