Queen Mathilde attended the National Conference on Financial Literacy - a part of "European Money Week" at the Egmont Palace in Brussels.
Patricia Vlerick acted as lady-in-waiting.
Mathilde talked to secundary school teachers who practice everyday money transactions with their pupils. The queen asked them if she could come and visit their class.
