At the royal palace in Brussels, King Philippe & Queen Mathilde met the winners of the Vrouwenraad/Conseil des Femmes (Women's council) "Women of Peace" Awards of 2012, 2014 and 2016.
On International Women's Day The King & Queen wished to express their admiration for these discrete advocates for peace, who mostly work behind the screens.
