Crown prince Philippe and princess Mathilde made a visit to Burundi on the occasion of the country's 50th year of independance.

Arrival in Bujumbura, Burundi.

Reception with foreign secretary, Didier Reynders and Minsiter of Development Aid, Paul Magnette. They were joined by representatives of 11.11.11.

King Boudewijn Prize 2015

King Philippe and queen Mathilde offered a lunch to "Appui au Développement Intégral et à la Solidarité sur les Collines" or ADISCO from Burundi who won the King Boudewijn Prize for African Development Aid.

The lunch was served by students of the Spermalie Hotel School.

They were joined by princess Astrid and prince Lorenz at the royal palace in Brussels for the official ceremony.
