Crown prince Philippe and princess Mathilde made a visit to Burundi on the occasion of the country's 50th year of independance.

Queen Mathilde hosted a meeting at the royal palace in Brussels with various NGOs, on the topic of reaching the Sustainable Development Goals.

Representatives of Bond Beter Leefmilieu, 11.11.11, Mouvement d'Action Paysanne, Colruyt Group, GoodPlanet Foundation, DUO for a Job and the city Ghent took part in a round table conference.

These 'SDG Voices' have agreed to help establish the Sustainable Development Goals in Belgium.

SDG: conference with Belgian ONGs

At the royal palace in Brussels, queen Mathilde hosted a round table conference with Belgian ONGs on a better cooperation in the field, to achieve the UN's Sustainable Development Goals.

The invited ONGs were Unicef Belgium, 11.11.11, Plan Belgium, Caritas International, Broederlijk Delen, Oxfam, Vredeseilanden, VLIR-UOS (Hasselt University) and ARES (Académie de Recherche et d'Enseignement supérieur).
